Sony Pictures has released three new posters for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but don’t look for them at theaters in the USA — these Electro-fying images are meant for the European market only.
Yes, again, some really cool posters will be reserved for territories other the USA, because studio marketing departments are convinced that American audiences will be confused by almost any graphic that isn’t blue-and-orange with floating heads — or featuring a superhero facing away from the camera and looking back over his shoulder.
Anyway, these posters show Spidey (Andrew Garfield) battling Electro (Jamie Foxx) in NYC’s Times Square.
Oh, well, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens May 2.
