By far my favorite bit to come out of this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego was the full trailer for the ninth series of the revived DOCTOR WHO. It looks plenty exciting, and if this clip holds true to form, most of the scenes are from the first half of the season.
“I’m the Doctor, and I save people!”
Whovians are foaming at mouth, trying to guess the identity of Maisie Williams‘ character, because the clip implies she and the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) know each other. Is she Susan? Is she Jenny? Is she Romana III? But I think the answer could be much simpler: She’s just somebody he met earlier in the episode and didn’t expect to see again.
