Roads? Where we’re going, we STILL need roads!
Yes, it’s 2015 and there are STILL no flying cars — although we are making progress on driverless cars — or hoverboards — but a couple of prototypes are in the pipeline — and I’m beginning to despair of ever seeing flying cars in my lifetime. Still, it’s not all bad.
Today is Oct. 21, 2015, the date Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) visited in 1989’s Back to the Future Part II — which makes the dearth of flying cars all the more tragic.
However, in a bid to take some of the sting out of our lack of progress, Doc Brown himself has returned with a message about disappointing futures:
In the first bit of truly bad news about next summer’s Captain America: Civil War, actor Daniel Bruhl revealed that his portrayal of Baron Zemo will be quite unique.
For starters, he will not wear Zemo’s iconic purple mask!
“He does not wear the mask,” said Bruhl, adding that his portrayal of the character will be very different from the printed page:
“You would be surprised; it’s different than what you’d think. It’s loosely connected to this character. But that’s what I like about the Marvel guys, some of the characters and things they’re dealing with always reference to current events so my character is from a different area than you would think.”
