Here’s a whole bunch of stuff to catch you up on Marvel Entertainment’s new “street-level” superhero small-screen series from Netflix, DAREDEVIL. I’m not very interested in this one; I’m more looking forward to A.K.A. JESSICA JONES and THE DEFENDERS, but this series looks well-done.

I’ll admit it: I’m one of those fans who cannot get past the crappy-looking all-black costume. Supposedly, the Daredevil identity will evolve and we’ll eventually see the all-red fighting togs, but probably not this season. Heck, I’d settle for his original red-and-yellow costume.
Still, as I said, it looks like a lot of effort went into other parts of the series (just not the costume). Check out the trailer:

The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple (a.k.a. Night Nurse), Bob Gunton as Leland Owlsely, Vondie Curtis Hall as Ben Urich, Toby Leonard Moore as Wesley, Ayelet Zurer as Venessa Fisk and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
All 13 episodes will premiere April 10 on Netflix.
