Director George Miller unveiled a new, long trailer for 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road at Comic-Con International: San Diego, and it pretty much buries the needle on driving mayhem:
The clip seems to feature more CGI than I’d like, but it still looks pretty terrific. I do wonder why producers are being so coy about showing Max’s face; are they hoping people will assume Mel Gibson is still starring? To me, new star Tom Hardy has such a generic face that I’d worry about viewers losing Max in the crowd and so I’d want to showcase his mug as much as possible.
Marvel Studios announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego yesterday that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 has been greenlighted and slated for release on July 28, 2017.
Director/writer James Gunn will return to perform the same duties for the sequel.
Guardians of the Galaxy is set to be released this Friday.
The 12th Doctor (Peter Capaldi) has a very simple command:
Well, at least it’s easier than, “Don’t blink!”
Here’s a long teaser for the upcoming season five of THE WALKING DEAD which returns to AMC on Oct. 12.
Director Zack Snyder shocked and delighted Comic-Con International: San Diego this morning (or so I hear, because I’m not there!) with teaser footage from the still-filming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice — and the reveal of Wonder Woman!
While the 20 seconds of film footage are not available, the image of Gal Gadot in all her Amazonian glory is. What do you think? Works for me!
After so many misfires onscreen and on the page, I think somebody (Michael Wilkinson, to be exact) got a modern Wonder Woman costume right! And Gal‘s glare looks pretty convincing, too.
This new of Ben Affleck in costume and in character as a grizzled, older Batman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, should chill the alien blood of that careless Kryptonian killer, Superman (Henry Cavill).
The image is part of a 75th anniversary montage of Batman images created for the DC Comics booth at Comic-Con International: San Diego that shows various versions of the character over the years.
A statement from DC Comics confirmed that the image is from Zack Snyder‘s film:
Yes, as fans have started pointing out, within the dozens of photos and illustrations on the wall is a brand new image of Batman from the upcoming film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The filmmakers wanted to include this new cinematic version of the Dark Knight in the anniversary mosaic so it could be discovered by fans.
They may be expendable, but the movie franchise refuses to die! Perhaps winking at that fact, the character posters for The Expendables 3 seem intent on murdering your eyeballs!
In this latest go-round, Sylvester Stallone‘s Barney goes up against his old pal, the presumed-dead co-founder of the Expendables, Conrad Stonebanks — played by Mel Gibson. Barney’s returning champions — played by Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Jet Li and Arnold Schwarzenegger — are joined by Wesley Snipes, Kelsey Grammer, Harrison Ford, Ronda Rousey, Kellan Lutz, Antonio Banderas and Robert Davi.Yay, Ronda Rousey, but… Kelsey Grammer and Kellan Lutz?
