First Clip From ‘I, Frankenstein’

The first trailer has been released for Aaron Eckhart’s I, Frankenstein, in which he plays Frankenstein’s creature (named Adam), who has survived to the present day and gets tangled up in some kind of supernatural war.

The clip makes it look a lot like the Underworld movies — going so far as to include Bill Nighy — because, as the clip trumpets, it’s from the producers of that series, and written by Kevin Grevioux, who scripted some of those movies. Check it out…

I’m not sure if I’m going to see it. This trailer keeps showing a lot of the same things over and over: fire trails circling in the sky, gargoyle-like creatures, running and stuff blowing up. Can’t say anything about this really grabs me. And it’s only rated PG-13, which means there isn’t going to be much in the way of violence.
