‘Movie’ Posters for More DOCTOR WHO Stories

The BBC have released the movie poster-style images for the remaining widescreen episodes of series seven — save for the still-secret finale.

There looks to still a lot of adventure and fun in store as the Doctor (Matt Smith) tries to solve the puzzle of Jenna-Louise Coleman‘s Clara, the “girl twice dead” who is traveling with him now.

My favorite by far is the teaser for “Journey to the Center of the TARDIS.” But there’s a lot to be said for the shiny Cyberman in Neil Gaiman‘s “Nightmare in Silver.”

What do you think?

    • The episode titles are truly evocative this season. I think they are an unmitigated success for Moffat. And the best part is — the episodes are airing in the coming weeks, non-stop, beginning with our mutual fave, “Journey to the Center of the TARDIS” this Saturday, April 17!

        • I wish! 😦

As of right now, the fall will see the anniversary episode (filming now) airing on Nov. 23; Mark Gatiss’ “An Adventure in Space in Time” documentary; some kind of tribute show featuring talking heads discussing the series — and that’s it until the Christmas Special on Dec. 25.

It’s going to be mighty slim pickings for the anniversary season. New stuff may be announced, but whatever pops up, it won’t be more stories — because they would have to be written, cast, filmed and edited, all of which takes time. Plus, Matt will be unavailable for filming until after he’s shot Ryan Gosling’s movie this summer.
