Hard-Travelin’ Man

Another Monday, and another work week begins. And what’s usually the worst part of anyone’s work day? The commute. Those grinding death marches.

My daily commute involves a car, a public parking garage, a Metro-North train, a subway and walking. And then I reverse it all for the trip home. There really isn’t a single leg of the journey that is enjoyable, but I do the best I can: I try to nap on the train ride to the city, and read a book on the ride back home. (Warning: Neither of those ideas works well for the other legs, including the walking and driving.)
