Fans are already hungering for every morsel of information they can glean about next month’s film adaptation of The Hunger Games, so there’s little need to whet audience appetites with reveal-nothing teasers like this shot of lead character Katniss Everdeen staring at… what? A wall? A door? Elevator doors? How is she reacting?
Seriously, how passive-aggressive is the publicity department at Lionsgate?
I suppose desperate Hunger Games novel fans could say, “Aha! Now we know Katniss will be wearing a “12” on her back during training (at least training is the only context into which I can fit the image). But other than a hint about the training session (seen more extensively in the last trailer) this image is pretty worthless. I mean, it doesn’t even play to any prurient interests, since it’s cropped above Jennifer Lawrence’s butt!
