COVERT AFFAIRS 1.9: Fool in the Rain

Judging by the “Previously on COVERT AFFAIRS…” montage, last week was a lousy time for my DVR to throw a shoe and not record the episode; looks like I missed some good stuff. Damn! Not that this week wasn’t good in its own way, but I hate not knowing what happened…

The name of the game this week was “relationships,” as this episode delved into Annie’s (Piper Perabo) bond with her sister, Danielle (Anne Dudek) and the old links that still tie her to mysterious superspy Ben Mercer (Eion Bailey). Now, there appeared to be lots of cool Ben material last week, so maybe this all would have made more sense had I caught that episode.
